Programing a Key

I got my car used and it only came with one key. I bought 2 blank chipped keys that I need to get cut but I need two keys to program another. Ford wants $80 to program a key. does anyone know how to do it yourself?

You need at least 2 keys before you can program another in, yourself, on a 99+.

You can try calling local locksmiths and repair shops, some will have an NGS and will do it cheaper than ford.

What does NGS mean?
