around $250 to $350 depends on where you go. Make sure that the gears are put in by someone who knows what they are doing. You can easily damage the rear end if the gears are off just a little bit.

200s is a good price, but i would MUCh rather pay ALOT more to get a quality install than skimp.. they are not easy to put in, any one can stick in gears... you got to know what you are doing to install them correctly.

I received my 4.30's in the mail today. It was 38.00 for shipping. What you want for those is a steal.. I paid 200. for the FMS ones and wish I could have gotta deal like this and yes I know these wont fit my car... I've called around today looking for a shop to do it and found from 300. to 400. for installation. You need to also remember that if you car has over 60 thousand mile that you should get a install and bearing kit which run around 90. for motive ones, but I would try to find some FMS ones... the girl told me I should get a kit either way. Hope this helps ya out...
This is for the Motive ones.. http://mustangtuning.com/rearendrebuild1.html

4.30's on the highway do suck gas at highway speeds. You might not mind it and are use to getting large SUV mileage but mileage does suffer.

I got it done at Lifeline Automotive: 4 Route 639, Sussex N.J. 07461. (973) 875-1890. My total price of install came to $218.36 cuz he had to replace fluid and add a part that ford didn't include in the ring and pinion setup. I believe it was a crush sleeve or something, cant remember what he said; I was to revved up about driving my car This shop is installing my aftercat next week for $60. I think thats a damn good deal!
P.S. Shop owner is a certified ford mechanic.

I dont have AIM but I live in Montague, which is in the northwest corner of NJ. I'm right on the border of NY and PA, last town in jersey... or first. Take 80 west to Jefferson/ Sparta exit (RT. 15 north), I'm about 45 mins. north of that exit.
