Alright, I just looked at the manual cause I just bought oil to do my next oil change (tomorrow) and is it ok if I just keep on puttin in 10-W30 from now on? Or should I take it back?

Thanks! The RETARD has gotten his answer

Being down in FLA you are better off with the 10W30.

They spec the 5W30 to improve their overall gas mileage numbers.

You are OK in the summer months using a 10-W30 will give you slightly better oil viscosity and 5-W30 is better when lower viscosity is required during the winter

You are safe

I have to put Mobil 1 in my car. Says so from the factory and even on the oil cap "mobil 1 only". But even when I had a v6, I put Mobil 1 in it when I was heavily modified. When I was more stock (like you), quaker state regular.

Honestly all Synthetics are very close in quality. I use Castrol but have used Mobil One and Havoline. I still do to the years of poor quality I still refuse to buy Quaker State.

I had a contour called for 5w30 and after a while 10w30 clogged the variable cam timing unit

quaker state foams up real easily.. also condenses/creates peanut-butter oil cap..

I don't like quaker state
