Jacking the back up.

I am currently painting my brake calipers and it sucks lol. Its not that hard just time consuming. I am having to use the factory jack on each individual jack spot (started front driver, and almost done with driver rear now). My problem is that I have a huge jack thats flat on top and could lift up the whole back of the car... Only problem is Im not sure where to put it. My idead was on the rear differential... but the manual says NO!~!!!!~@!~!~ dont lol.

do it anyways, just make sure you aren't putting the weight on the cover

maybe get a second floor jack, or use your scissor jack on one side and your other jack on the other? the floor jack i have doesn't really sit in the body lift points, but that or on the outside of the axle (not the dif) is supposed to be ok from what i've read

for the front put it under the K member for the rear you can put it on the torque arms (where the lower control arms bolts to the frame) and put a jack stand there then do the other side, you can jack with putting it under the rear differential but you must NOT have any pressure on the rear differential cover as it will cause leaks. You have to push it forward a bit more to put it on the pumpkin fully so it doesnt put pressure on the diff cover.

You should be able to jack up on the axles. Invest in some jack stands so you can lift up a side and leave it up and work. You can lift up one side at a time instead of worrying about getting both ends up at once. Using the factory jack is good but I wouldn't leave my car sitting up on one.
