Alright, i have a 96 beater m/t mustang just sitting around. Its not used for anything, i have it just incase my car goes down. Well, i kinda wanan turbo it, now im not new to the forced induction and tuning world. Im more into the import scene, so basically my question is, what type of fuel manegment (injectors, MAF, pcm?) will i need to run around 10psi on the stock block. I can fab the manifold and i/c piping easily. I think im going to use a single turbo, most likly a hybrid with a ahuge compressor housing.
Thanks, Brett

if your going to go with turbo you definetly need to get a dyno tune and not a chip because mustangs are generally known for using superchargers and not turbos. if you get a chip talk to justin and vmp mustangs. he has a turbo mustang that runs almost 400 RWHP. for injectors go with #42 injectors with a high impedence and at least a 90mm MAF. hopefully justing will come in soon. he'll know more about it.

I would run an SCT maf ,#42 LOW Impedence injectors and at least a 255L/hr fuel pump. To Tune it a lot of people like mail order I like an actual dyno tune especially on boosted applications .

Right for a power adder I wouldn't do anything but a dyno tune. You're justr messing with disater if you don't.

Alright, i think you guys are missunderstanding my question. I know it will have to be tuned (connections at the shop..10$ two runs). What im really trying to ask is how you change the air fuel ratios on a mustang, like on a se-r specv i cant just do it by changing fuel press. i have to get a piggyback (afc, greddy emanage) stuff like that, how is it done on a stang?

you dont have to get a piggyback there are FAR better ways to tune... I would highly recommend you fork over the extra bucks to get it professionally tuned by someone who KNOWS the v6 mustang... there are only a handful of course. Alberto is very good, there are others all around the us so see who all is where. Check the sponsors page.

Alberto can get you a mail order chip that will get you VERY close you wouldnt belive, and by mail order i dont mean just a off the shelf, he will do a great custom job on it for you, he will just send it to you though the mail. (americanmotorsports.com) you can then get a tune and get your A/F checked and confirm the specs to make sure you are where you need to be
