major problems..

Today i tryed to pull outta my garage and get around the pool guys truck a lil ways behind my garage... however while in the midst of backing and pulling forward i brushed the brick stairs the the back door.. Could this be buffed out -- or what do i need to do with out spending a fortune.... .next problem.. .. a while ago i slide into a tree during heavy rain and my lower left passenger door was hit right on the seal between the front quarter panel and door.... after it was done the guy left the window off a centimeter and i took it back to get it fixed.. however when i drive over 40 miles an hour or there is heavy wind it blows through the seal and i hear a wind-like annoying noise that you would hear if a window was cracked... how can this problem be solved?> without spending another 2k... possibly a bigger door weather seal?

as far as the problem with the door, id take it back to the guy that fixed it

i bought turtle scratch wax something along those lines.. and im gonna clean the surface the best i can.. then i donno what to do from there.. has anyone had minor scratchs like this fixed?

as far as the door goes.. i really cant take it back to the guy bc his bussiness moved.. any other ideas?

the rule of thumb with buffing out scratches is..if its deep enough for your fingernail to catch it then its too deep to buff out and will need paint.
Don't really know what to say about the door.

well my mom smashed into my back quarter panel - above driver side back wheel- so when i get an estimate.. i will throw in the scratches..haha. Anyway do you have a clue what this door would cost to fix the hindges?

i had a very similar scratch on my front bumper... what i did was i went to autozone and got some oxford white spraypaint and clearcoat. I cleaned it as hard as i could so that i knew only the part where the paint was taken off was left. I then used masking tape and taped all around the scratch being very detailed leaving only the scratch exposed. Then i taped up some newspapers covering almost the whole front of the car, just to be safe

. I then put like 4 coats of the white spraypaint on and, after everything was good and dry, i put like 3 coats of clear. Probly should have done more coats but i was out of dailight and i needed to drive the car the next day, and i didn't want to do all the detailing with the newspaper and masking tape again. I will warn you that my paint color did not match perfectly, put it looks better than it did...it was hardly noticeable to begin with... Good Luck

thanks kyle: im gonna look into that.. but im not quite sure what color my car is... it sounds weird but its not the lazer red; its more of an orange-like red.. any ideas?

clean the schratch with rubbing compound then apply touch up paint where it is needed, then wax. that door is so out of alignment, take that car back to the fugger that fixed it and have him do the job right.

like i said i cant take the door back..its soo annoying when i get over 45 mph and i hear the wind.. so any guesses on what that cost to fix it/?
