interior black out? paint?

First off I am new here and would like to say hello!
I own a 94 mustang which I just bought a couple months ago. it is a black convertable with black saleen rims. the interior is black on grey and I would like to black it out. I know where to get the carpet but what about the dash/interior panels that are grey? paint would work for me but I do not want to have problems with it scratching and flaking. so any advice is welcome. also any advice on new black leather apholstery would be great!

First off

You're best bet is to find a junk yard and get any pieces you may want to swap out.

If you'd rather paint, all the plastic trim in the car can be painted and is quite common for many Mustangs owner IMHO.

You can also buy all black panels from the dealer, but they will be expensive. If you decide to paint, follow that how to step by step, THOROUGHLY or you will get bubbled paint that looks like a mix of cancer and leprosy.

what about painting flexable surfaces like the air back cover on the stering wheel? I dont want to delete it bbut also dont want to spend $700 for a new one just to make it black. I just dont want to have problems with the paint falling off. what is the very best paint to use?

late model restoration has dye for this and when done right looks great. they even have factory colors available.
