my camping trip was awesome and i got stabbed in the leg (pics)

monday morning me and 3 of my friends left for a 4 night back country camping trip to cumberland island, georgia. it was pretty badass: lots of time to chill (which i needed), a beach pretty much to ourselves, lots of random shit (like sitting in a tree for 2 hours in the middle of the night trying to spear a wild boar and trying to spear fish), wild horses, and more. on the first day we took a 45 ferry ride to the island then hiked 7 miles to a campsite in a wooded area then hiked 3 miles to the beach and camped there for 3 nights. on the last night we were breaking down camp so we could try to make the 10:15am ferry home; i was in a tree that was growing parallel to the ground about 5-6 feet up untying my hammock when i slipped off the tree. my friend instinctivly tried to catch me, unfortunately he had forgotten he was holding a smith and wesson boot knife in his hand. i fall to the ground, in a shock and was like "damn, my leg hurts" and rolled over to see my leg all bloody with a hole in it and a knife laying on the ground. after my friends wrapped my leg up and supported it to stop the bleeding i got up and moved my leg and my toes all around and walked to make sure nothing important got hit (the knife did go about 2" into my scrawny leg). after i walked around we decided to call a park ranger b/c i atleast needed some stitches, i figured they would bandage me up and wait to the morning but they came out with a truck, loaded me, my friends and all our gear up and drove us a to a dock where a coast guard (might have been an nps boat, it was dark out) was waiting to drive us back to the mainland so i could go to the ER and get some stitches. I ended up getting three staples in my leg, which isn't a big deal but it was an easy way to get off the island and we all got a good laugh out of my friend stabbing me in the leg.

it really didn't hurt all that bad, if i ever have to get stitches again i am gonna ask them if i can have staples, they are so much easier.

I was working back at my old crap job (end of H.S job) at a local supermarket... I had to clean the funk off of the milk shelves and I picked one up and the back side of it slide about a foot, its very very sharp, it took my left hands third finger down to the bone

so was it your ring finger if u count from ur thumb over, index finger if u could from pinky over or ur middle finger if u count your thumb or pinky then go over

I see all kinds of ppl at work with their fingers almost cut off, or cut off, with no chance of ever regaining feeling in their fingers or hands. We don't see too many legs. We do see feet though.

If you didn't seperate any muscles from the bone or scratch any bones, or cut any nerves or blood vessels/arteries, you should be perfectly fine.
