getting trunk painted....

here's what i'm looking to get done to it.
clean up where the spoiler was and get the bottom portion painted flat black. a lil more old-school.
something like this.

Why not just get the 35th Anny trim panel Like I have on mine. Should save you some money over paint. Just an idea.

cuz i dont wanna claim mine is a GT by the badge. plus my friend is doing it for practically nothing. the panel is about $100 rite?
my friend is clearing my trunk, plugging the holes etc from the spoiler, and painting everything for $100

my friend got his car with the area that the 35th panel would cover done in flat black, it looks really nice, just make sure they paint it smooth his had a wave where the black meet the red.
You need to get some ann. side mirrors

Well at that price you can't beat it. BTW you can get a V6 badge that goes in the GT spot on the trim panel.
But like I said for $100 I'd do the paint as well.

that badge looks bad though, its just a GT badge thats been reworked and says V6 HO... just get it painted it will look better anyway, just cant go back to red easy.. but if you got the panels it would be scratched up if you removed them anyway probably.

they fold and the main peice is painted, the peice that is up by the window is painted black, just look at an 03 cobra or an anniv. mustang.

i have a theme going with my car. black and red. black grille delete and chin spoiler, fake air inlet on hood mirrors, etc.
putting some black on the rear willl make it flow more.
interior my theme is black and silver/gray

im visiting family next weekend (12 hour road trip) so i was hoping to have my suspension done by then. i may break down and have a shop do it...but i'd rather avoid that.
the trunk at least will be finished by trip time. damn i want that lower stance.

Hm...I'm trying to decide if I wanna paint that part of my trunk black as well, don't like the trim panel, and I'm already gonna be painting some stuff black...
