I'm getting ready to go pick up my '94 at Lamotta Performance. My ball joints were shot, so I picked up a pair of the Ford Racing lower control arms (the 03-04 Cobra part) to make the fix more of an upgrade. Also replaced the tie rod ends. I don't know how much of a difference I'll feel, but I'm looking forward to checking it out (after an alignment of course). I think I can finally start saving for a paint job.
Anybody else here ever upgrade to the Cobra arms?

I have them stock and they are angled different if my memory is correct. They sit back toward the rear a tad bit more. I doubt you will notice a difference in normal driving but at the track they may help your understeer. Get a 03/04 cobra rack if you ever have the chance.

You may be right about the slight change in angle--the alignment guys couldn't quite get caster zeroed in. It was VERY close. Car feels good so far, but rain kept me from having any fun.
What will I gain with the Cobra rack?

Nothing a set of C/C plates can't fix. I would also look into a bumpsteer kit.

Actually, I have Steeda c/c plates. The problem is that my Cobra strut tower brace is up against them and they apparently don't have room to move that last little tweak forward. With caster, I'm not that worried about it. It won't affect tire wear and they are only a hair off from standard. I think the position is just on the side of more responsive steering and away from straight-line stability. That's on paper, though. The car is driving very very nicely. It tracks fine on the highway and turns tighter than before.
As for bump-steer and a Cobra rack...all good ideas for the next time i have the spare change.

a cobra rack has a tighter turn radius by a little, so less input to turn the wheels
