Is there one? I've been searching for pics of one to see. And where they are sold and stuff. I see tons of centrifugal ones, but have not been able to find a roots one, except for carb's. I just like the looks and sound of the roots style.

What about Kenne Bell, or is the twin screw and roots type that different? I think they have a blower for the 5.0, might be for foxbodies.
EDIT: Here's a link for the KB
http://kennebell.net/superchargers/f.../mustang50.htm
They have that and the "Blowzilla".

They make them, they just aren't really that popular. You can get the same effect with a turbo kit or centrifugal. Either will also be cheaper and probably make more power.
The only real benefit to the roots style over a centrifugal is the bottom end torque, which shouldn't be a problem on a 5.0 anyway. The reason they are so popular with the 4.6 is its relative lack of low end and mid-range power.

roots and twin screw basically same. I could of swore i looked there before Thank you for the link. The design is what i was afraid of. It still sits off to the "side".

I was wondering about this. I've always known the 5.0 was a low-end torquey motor. I just always assumed the 4.6 was the same. I've only ever driven 1 and that was a 95 grand marquis. Not exactly a race car. lol

a single turbo will be better, as said the 4.6 is a higher rpm power maker so the roots blowre helps low and high the 5.0 is a low end tq style motor and sucks on the top end near stock so roots really doesnt work the best on them IMO.
