ive seen stock ones do low 15's my friend has one, he's pulled a 15.2 so far and hes only been to the track a few times. another friend had one, with full exhaust he beat a friend with a 00 v6 5spd by about 1/2 or 1 car (mustang was stock)

haha modded spec v vs stock evo............
sad thing is the evo guy prolly spends so much a month in insurance and payments, he cant even afford any mods.

ah it worked now(had to save it)
eh, the only real mods those guys had were the cams, intake and exhaust dont do much but allow it to spool faster. going from 16-17psi stock to 20psi doesnt really make that much of a difference. especially on measly 16g's(yes im knocking my own pos turbo)
plus they are awd. why are they racing from freeway pulls, thats fwd territory, no wonder they lost. they shouldve done the guy from a dig, the sentra wouldnt have a chance.
i raced a evo much like that, and the outcome was much the same. after 100 on a awd its like hitting a brick wall, if you dont have the power to overcome the drivetrain loss and drag, itll kick you in the ass.

actually dude, intake and exhaust not only increase power, it also allows a faster spool, i mean, if it didnt add power, why would N/A cars do it? as for the cams, there could be some really nice gains from cams, turbo ford guys throw a roller cam from a ranger in the car, retard it 4 degree's, and love the gains
factory cam profiles are always mild, and are no where near allowing the engine to work at its full potential
and 4-5psi can make a big difference, i went from 15 to 19, before my boost controller got stuck, and it seriously woke my car up, it was amazing in my case, and thats with my rinky dink top mount intercooler, generally, 4-5 psi can be 35-50hp depending on the car and the setup

^^^i really need to quit making drunken posts. i have no idea what i was even talking about.
those are still slow evos though. still shoulda went from a dig and raped the turbo spec. let the fwders do the freeway pulls, leave the launching to awd.
