I have a stock 1995 Mustang GT, only mod is Flowmaster exhaust. What can be done to improve the performace with out adding anything. I mean is there any tricks to make the computer perform better? What about the timing?

If you mean not actually buying a mod i'd just clean the maf and intake and air filter or buy a new air filter which isn't what u were askin but it doesn't cost much. Make sure your spark plugs are good and maybe put some fuel injector cleaner in your tank next time you fill up.
You can advance your timing but you will have to run higher octane fuel and you will lose a few MPG. Just make sure your plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor are all ok. Upton also made some good suggestions as well.

Looking for the next project car now
The only real trick is doing basic cleaning/upkeep to get it running back like new (since as miles add on power decreases etc etc) and seat time as a driver to learn to drive the car to its max potential.
