Okay so my mom just randomly bought me some new taillights :dunno:
When I first heard, I was hoping they were some cool Blacked-out ones, but,
they're the euro-style lights.
I've had them on since bout 5 o'clock this afternoon, just haven't taken pictures yet.
I'm not sure if I'll be keeping them on or not.
I still have the stock ones, so I my just switch back and forth just to mess with people :chin:
What does everyone here think of the Euro-style lights?
They are ALOT brighter at night driving (which I do a lot of) which, unfortunately, also makes them look slightly pink :thumbsdow
I know a lot of people are totally against them, but, don't be too brutal haha
I'll probably be posting pics sometime tomorrow, if I feel like it

I wonder what the black tail light covers from AmericanMuscle would look like,...

I haven't really liked any euro taillights on any car or truck. So i'm going to be biased against them.

My honest opinion of those tail lights is that they look awful and ruin the looks of the car.

Yah euros don't belong on a mustang. I'd return them and buy the smoked covers/tint for your stock tail lights. That's my .02.

Not my style personally and I hear the smoked covers are kinda' cheap looking, for at least the headlights. I would say go for the tint specifically or just another "normal-er" set of tail lights.

Haha that's really interesting.
Basically, so far, the "reviews" I've gotten on my lights are like this:
The people that know alot about cars/ are mustang enthusiasts are mostly against them,
and
The people that know nothing about cars and/or couldn't care less say they look cool and they like em..
Hmm,..
Okay so I'm trying to insert the image, what URL do I need to put in?
Do I have to upload it to this site to insert it?

copy the image's URL by right clicking on it and selecting "copy image location".
Insert the URL and surround it with the "IMG" tags
Example:
Except replace the ")" and the "(" with respective brackets. (the code wouldn't show up properly if I did otherwise).
There are plenty of other ways, and you can just upload it as an attachment if you have the file saved on the computer as well.

Okay, I went to the advance reply, instead of the Quick reply., and found the attachment icon.
There's only one picture.
Well it was raining here basically all day, and now, the left taillight has an insane amount of water in it...
What's up with that?!

^ +2 This is true. I had a set on my previous vehicle and they're notorious for it.

Yeah, they're off now.
I just put the stock ones back on, and the stocks do look better.
I don't think my mom will be too happy about it, but oh well.
I'll just tell her they're bad because water got in them.

Okay guys thanks for all the replies.
THE LIGHTS ARE OFF NOW.
Mainly due to
1) they really did look terrible
2) got way too much water in left taillight
i didn't think so many people hated euro's so much lol
Overall all the lights were just a :badidea:

For future reference, make sure the foam rubber gaskets around your light bulb assemblies are seated correctly when you attach them to the lenses otherwise you'll get condensation inside the housings. (or maybe those just leak around the glued joints which is a way bigger problem)

Glad they're gone. They looked bad.
From my experience, damn near every aftermarket light housing needs to be resealed before you even put it on the car. I kept sealant all the time when I was playing with different housings.
At one point, I had blacked out covers for my headlights and taillights. I think they looked awesome on my white car, but I don't know about your gray one. Personally though, the best thing you can do for taillights on Mustangs imho is the sequential taillight mod. It's SO EASY and I got more compliments on those than anything.

Yeah if I ever spend money on taillight housings then it'll be the ones from AM, they look good and the price is good.
However money is tight now and I have other things I'll get for my car before taillights are a necessity.
