tried that. i dont think it fits in the glovebox. to do that it would have to be open at all times.
as far as under the glove box............i dont know how i would mount it like that

You could....take out your glove box, get someone who knows how to fiberglass, and fiberglass a permanant holder for the ps2.

i say sell it and get a CarPC built up.
im thinking on going with a CarPC system. since i need a laptop to run DSMlink so i can tune all aspects of my car(much like a stand alone but using the current ECU). a new laptop from Dell would run me 1000 bucks, and is far more than i would need to run a simple program like dsmlink. yet i have a 800mhz computer tower with some huge ass 3d card, 60GB HD, and 1000something Ram thats just chillin in my garage. theres a couple things you need to make it work with the cars 12v system(transformer, switch to have it turn on and off with the car ignition.) then i would also need a flip out LCD screen type dvd player with inputs(use it as a monitor). they also sell mini handheld mice for laptops i could use, and small foldable keyboards. since i have the computer already thats more than sufficient to run DSMlink, all id need is 1000 for the flip out dvd player, and miscellaneous odds and ends.
plus i have a whole trunk that is unused and basically shielded from bass, which is where it would go. but i still dont know, i have a case of mafundzerlow and am low on the money, so i gotta save for a month or two.
cool thing about a CarPC is if you have a wireless card you can leech off of people when youre on road trips. and you can store more shit on a pc and access it, like mp3's (or pr0n if youre brent) than any I-Pod can.

i dont think so.
even if it could, the inverter is under the pass seat and it def cant fit under the drivers seat. and also the remote eye wouldnt work being under the seat (if it would fit under there)

Somebody a while back was selling a fiberglass box i guess you'd call it to mount a PS2 where the glove box goes.
It was ugly and looked dumb. Sell it and get a small PS2.

It's not really that hard to make a carpc, I'd use a flip out touch screen if it was me. I'm kinda looking into this for engine management here in a few years, there's alot out there, just research some. You can get a PS2 emulator put on the computer and be good to go on a flip out screen, that way you don't necessarily need a mouse or keyboard...

^^^^i was just looking at that site, and you can get a whole Car-PC made for like 1200 bucks, thats with the monitor.
which is more than id like to spend.
i think ill stick to a laptop so i can take it to work and play the music and not have to listen to the crap they listen to(mexican techno stuff). plus i need a Serial port, and those carpc's dont have them. plus i still need to buy DSMlink, which is another 500 bucks.
