HELP With Seat

Ok here it goes my mom needed to drive my car so i let her and she smokes and she axidentaly and the what everyone calls the cherry fell off on the drivers seat and now i have a hole in it i want to get it fixed because i want to enter my car in car shows i want to know what are my options do i have to replace the whole seat or can i just replace the fabrice and where do i get it.

I believe 50resto.com has the upholstery for all the years and models. try that.

You can't just patch a spot like that and it look right...don't let her smoke in your car. #1 rule for me...

But seriously...dunno man. I've done patches on couches and such, but it's a different material. I take it you have cloth seats, it's gonna be hard to match, that's the problem.

I'd say your best bet is to get some nice seat covers.

I don't even know how that fabric is attached...
You could go talk to the people at Ford. They'll want an arm and a leg for seats or upholstery probably. Just take it up there and see what they suggest.

The fabric is stretched tightly over the foam seat cushions and metal frame just as a regular seat cover does, they are just tightly fitted, quite fun to work on actually.

yeh...Ill be redoing the front/back of my 88 in black viynl and maybe hints of blue like blue piping on it...should be fun putting it on ...

well called local dealership bottom 400.00 but a friend who works at one 45 miles away can get it for 324.00

You DEFINATLY need to check out www.gefracing.com , if you go to their main page you will see a phone number below the ford log. Its in a little area on the right that says we also sell oem parts. CALL THEM they are an oem ford dealer and are great to save money.
