Okay the video's quality isn't that great my digi cam was dying on me and I hadn't messed with the settings in a while but you can still hear it good. I also have a pic to show it. I decided on a45degree angle but had them angle it so you couldn't really see the welding into the tip and I love the look and i LOVE the sound. When driving around at about 2500 rpm it sounds very close to a v8 and has a much deeper tone then my old setup.
It's a SI/SO flomaster with a custom y-pipe into 2 and 1/4 piping wirh 3in chrome tips.
Video is 2.88mb

Busted out the tripod and it STILL looks crooked!
I liked the straight out tips better, but to each his own.
Sounds good.

Yeah my driveway is slanted in a bunch of different directions so i'm screwed trying to take a good pic on it, but I had just enough juice in my cam to do that so i'm not worried about it for now.

no real mud holes around here. I've gotten more into trails then mudholes and my old tip did just fine with going in water and the mud puddles i hit.

just having chrome on with no mudd they will rust... and in a matter of days... if you care about keeping the tips nice get some rustoleum and paint the SHIT out of the inside of the tips or you WILL be sorry and VERY VERY soon.

My friend doesn't hit a lot of mud in his camaro, but his chrome tips were gone in about 8 months. I mean, rusted through completely.

Had my other tip on for about a year with very little rust on the inside and it was hit with mud and all sorts of other stuff. If they rust out bad then i'll buy some stainless tips and get them put on.

chrome tips will NOT last more than a couple days with out rusting, they can last a good bit after they start as far as not rusting though. I was just talking about the inside, which gets all orange and nasty looking, well it drives me nuts lol. Just spray soem rustoleum on em really good before they rust and it will REALLY make em last longer before they become ruined.
