i took it to autozone the other day since they check it out for free, and they guy showed me the little computer thing which said something about "Fuel Air Metering" and he was like "this is what it says. i dunno what it means." i was like "thanks." does anyone know what this could be? the light went off but i'm still a little concerned about it.

Ask them for the actual code that is being set. For example P0301.

o.k., the code he gave me was P1151. (Fuel/Air Metering) does that mean anything to anyone? he said something about a sensor that controls the mixture of air and fuel. how hard/expensive will this be to fix?

When having a CEL, strategically placed electrical tape can make it "turn off".

I had the same problem. I took it to ford, warranty covered it. if you are not under warranty, the guy said it would be around $150. Hope this helps.
