c-springs & mm plates....ok w/o shocks struts?

is it ok to install the c-springs and c/c plates w/o upgraded shocks/struts?

as in how long can my stock shocks and struts handle the springs before needing to be replaced. i've heard mixed thoughts.

If you don't cut the front springs you won't need c/c plates...but I do since I cut mine. As far as stock and strut life, it all depends on how low you go. If you go without cutting, you may be ok for a while, if you cut it to my height, I dunno how long they'd last.

saw your cardomain and it looks pretty stock height there. is it cuz of the tires and lighting or are those outta date photos?

i guess it isn't that hard to cut that dead coil?

any direction it needs to be cut in or specific point?

Car domain is way outta date. Here's a pic of it, in the grass, and dirty, but you get the idea.

it will be fine, the mm cc plates even raise the strut travel a bit... but not much. You wont have a problem for a good bit (I have like 30k or more on my shocks/struts with c springs)
