Hi people,
As you can guess I'm new here. I bought my second mustang last year, first being a 1990 Mustang I had a long time ago. This one is a green 1996 V6 Mustang, that I got with only 48K miles on it (it has 52K now). Yes it's a V6 so I won't be bragging about any HP numbers and probably will hang out just in the general lumped together V6 section to get tips and information on the car.
I currently put in a Cold air intake that I purchased from americanmuscle.com a short while ago for fun, it went in without a hitch. I took out my stock radio and put in a new Kenwood CD/mp3 player to compliment my Mach 460 sound system. The car is a smooth driver except for some problems that I'm investigating and hoping to god won't be a $500 problem like hard shaking and vibration for a short while when accelerating from 35-45 at a slow steady pace (when I accelerate hard it doesn't occur) and belt squeaking which first started to occur when my car was leaking antifreeze (I replaced the tubing so the anitfreeze leak is no longer an issue), a chipped pulley and I have to replace my stock speakers cause the sound in them goes out which is going to require me to take off my door panel.
Anyway, after I finish troubleshooting I would liketo replace my headlights with some nice halo projection lights I saw. The stock ones look like shit (they remind me of my old Ford tempo headlights) and aren't to efficient either.
Anyway thanks for listening, I'm going to go figure out the best way to replace my spark plugs cause on this engine for some reason they are on the sides making them a bit difficult to get at.
