Let me see if I can do a quick one and take some screen caps to show you.

I'm not sure how to do this in PSP but maybe you guys can figure it out... This was just a quicky to show what i did. I only did one stripe down this but you can actually do 2 at a time or as many as you want. You just can't draw a mask inside a mask.
First I changed the pic from 72 pixels to 300 to make the pic larger to give what I'm doing more detail. Next I used my masking tool to draw the mask.
And then I changed my hue maps to color it all silver/gray. Then I inverted the mask which basically turns the mask inside out.

Then I inverted the mask back to normal so that the inside of the mask is what gets edited. I used the hue maps again to go back to black.

Then I inverted the mask back again so I could edit the inside of the mask again. I used the hue maps to get my silver/gray again. After I finished I cut the dark area of the scoop out of the original version of the pic and pasted it in to get the scoop dark in the opening again. I did that for the previous pic too except I did it to the grill area and the air intake in the bottom of the bumper. If one of you figures out how to do it in PSP maybe you could post how you did it.

Exactly, lol.. Then choose paste or paste as new image in your graphics program. I resized it down 70% to fit it in the boards better. Works great for stuff like this!
