CAI...breather tube wont reach pipe

i cant get my breather tube to reach to my upper intake pipe.

is there something i'm missing? it almost reaches but wont go in.

I have the same problem... it DOES get there, but it's a pull... and things pop some times, delicate balance.

how far off is it ? it could be possible to get a connector peice from home depot and another hose so it reaches or a hose 1 size up and over lap the existing hose and just use 2 hose clamps to make it airtight

i'll finish it up in the morning when i have light, less humidity, and no mosquitos.

everything else hooked up just fine. but im worried about the air filter comin off the clamps. i hope it'll be ok. i assume it will

As long as you screwed them down tight it wont budge, mine hasnt in the year or two Ive had it.

I had the same problem with the breather so I went and got a piece of rubber house and just did what Dark02Pony said.
