I have only owned one Ford. A 1995 Explorer. It was a horrible "car", and I swore I would never own another Ford product. Well - the new Mustang GT has me rethinking that. I am still a bit gun shy and concerned over quality control and frequency of repair issues. I intend to do more research and joining this forum is one way I hope to gain more insight into this car's reliability and quality issues. Any tips or comments about that are genuinely appreciated. Thanks!
Doug

If you are looking for an objective opinion about ford products, you aren't going to find it here.

Yes - I realize the dilemma. I belong to other car forums and it does tend to go that way sometimes. But I also find a number of helpful responses do get through. I have some confidence I will get some helpful feedback.

I have always been a GM guy and when the 05 mustang came out I had to have one. It's my wife's daily driver and it just rolled 50,000 miles. I haven't had any isuess with the car.

welcome
I haven't heard anything regarding the new 2010 model mustang. Ford has seemed to step up the overall quality of the car, both interior and exterior. The engine/drivetrain platform is relatively similar to the 05-09 models, and I don't remember hearing about any major reliability issues with them.

Welcome to the site. How far do you live away from Hamilton?

Thanks. If you are talking about the Hamilton near Zainesville, I'm about 150 miles. If the one near Cinci, that's closer to 200. I'm in Beachwood - an eastern suburb of Cleveland.

Oh, the one near Cincinnati. I have some family up there. Anyway, welcome to the site.
