Ebay Body Kits

I was wondering if anyone has bought a body kit off of ebay. I am curious of to how well they are actually fitting on the cars being that some of the body kits are 200 dollars cheaper then at a regular store. Thank for the input fellas.

if its fiberglass do NOT get it wont stand up good at all and doesnt have flex that a urethane body kit would have. put out the extra $ for urethane you wont regret it at all

urethane is expensive i havent seen a Spider II or Cobra front for less than 400 bucks

yeah urethane is more $$ but with fiberglass it will crack very easy and from what ive heard from some people fiberglass doesnt fit as good as urethane does

what body kit do you like the best?? I like the Cobra and the Spider II the best

personally i love a shaker system and mach-1 chin spoiler but body kit i love saleen

I bought a fiberglass black widow kit off ebay. Donn't do it. They are knock offs, even if you can get it to fit you will be like 4000 dollars in debt after paint.

Buy only from Cervini's, Saleen, or FoMoCo. MAYBE Ground Dynamics or some other reputable ricer companies.

avoid ebay kits...

unless its like a big company trying to get rid of over-stock.

it seems appealing at first, cheap to get and all... but when you get it the casting will be crap, it will not fit good, it will be warped, the body shop will charge you more than buying a urathane version would cost just to prepare and paint the thing, and when its on it still wont look good and will be warped and crappy. One pot hole or curb and its ruined, it just cracks.

go urathane ONLY the black widow kits look like total crap... they are nasty and should be outlawed on mustangs.... saleen, roush, or some oem ford setup seems to look the best. That was of course my opinion .... but the about what to buy part is true.

Ah I forgot about Roush.

Roush owns btw, all their kits kick ass and that will be what I get prob if I ever try to kit my car again...

If I get in an accident and need new stock bumpers I am so getting one of these two lip kits. They look the most stock, use 3m tape to stick on, all while giving the car a meannnn look.
