Side VEnt install

Has anyone taken of the Side vents on a 99-04 V6? are they just taped on or what?

I think they're pop riveted on. You can take them out and interchange them with ones from GTs, Cobras, Mach 1s, etc.

There are six plastic push pin type things on each one. They simply pull off with force. You will probably have to dig several of the plastic pieces out of their holes as they simply pull off the back of the side scoop.

The only reason I know is I helped make a few carbon fiber side scoops a few years back and spent alot of time pulling the old ones off and test fitting new ones. Not that hard really....and I ended up with 03 Cobra sidescoops on that car in the end lol.
