Decal Removal

I recently put on a racing stripe on my hood that dried too fast and bubbled up. Now I have these ugly creases in the vinyl and I wanted to know if there were any tips on removing them. I had to remove stuff from my old mustang but I had to use a heat gun and it took me forever. Is this the only way to go about it or is there a solution or liquid i can purchase that makes come off easier?

heat gun (aka hairdryer) is what I'd use. Taking your time is a small price to pay for your car.

I dunno about any solutions. I personally don't think I'd try anything like that on my paint, but I dunno.

You can probably use some sort of soapy water mixture if you can get a corner up and that will keep the glue from sticking...or it should at least. I dunno...take your time with a heat gun and be very careful or you will have scratches all over your hood...

I just peeled the decal off, and then it leaves the glue behind, which I picked up with WD-40... and my fingernail, lightly.... and then I realized I can use a towel and get it. It becomes a gel... and comes off rather easy.

geting the peal started is the hardest part, then just go VERY VERY slow maybe using water to spray the sticker to help it pull up so it does not tear.
