looking at this 93 convertible?

I drove this car yesteday. This thing is in mint condition.
It is completely stock, and he wants 9,000 for it.
The only thing that I noticed was that the stock engine feels about the same as my 00 3.8 as far as get up and go?
Are our 3.8 v6 about as strong as the older 5.0's. I realize that with a little modding the 5.0 can be much stronger. Is
9,000 too much for this car?

36k mile mint 93 convert... id say see if he'll go a little lower even though that thing looks great.

try to get it a little cheaper, but its not bad for a 36k mile car. but 5.0s are rated at about 30 hp and 70 tq more than your v6 - and lighter too, so either something is wrong with that car or your levi's dyno isn't working

thats a very nice vert. I'd offer him like 6 or 7 for it though. I see guys selling mint foxes all the time with lots of mods for 8. Although that is nice low mileage on that vert.... Tough call. What is it worth to YOU?

id jump on that in a heartbeat, even though I hate verts. Besides if you ever get rid of it you can part it out, people pays hundreds for the black interior...ive seen a dash and a pair of door panels go over 200 each on ebay...But yeh your levis dyno is not calibrated correctly

i have never driven one, are they a good bit quicker? i hope so, b/c im going to drive and hopefully buy one once i get home in 3 weeks. only bummer is its a similar car but it has an auto. and 68k on the clock. and its a 91.

they run slow times, slower than the 99 up 3.8  lol but it doesnt take much. 9k is FAR FAR to much for that.... thats just a rip off, you can get a 99 or 00 GT for that nearly.
