I'm meaning no insult, but the 94-98 4.6's and the new V6 autos are pretty close to the same "quickness" (or lack thereof), and are both turds.

stock V6 autos barely can break into 15's stock.
stock 94-98 4.6 turds run 15.5-15.8 stock, usually.

Naw... 94-98 GTs with good drivers could bust out high14s/low 15s stock. Now, most that I see are 15.2 or so. My best friend had a 94 5.0 with flowmaster mufflers though, that I doubt could have gone 15s. It was however, a very predictable car to get sideways. Much more so than mom's old Vette.

94-95 5.0's eat mod's "stock" their dogs. For some reason ford decided to "detune" them.

But you can easily make a 5.0 get into the 13's.

you can make any V8 Mustang or Camaro easily into a 13 second car. I will have to disagree with the idea that 96-98 are turds, Compared to what. The fact is a stock 99 V6 is going to get his ass whipped buy a 98 GT with 225 hp and a boatload of more torque. I believe most of you are racing grandma's in mustangs or something. And with some modding like a head change they gain 40 hp
