air filter help

kinda good news, I took my air filter out to see if it needs cleaned and found out that i have a K&N filter. i see that when you clean you filter you need to add oil??? whats the best way to clean the filter and what oil do ou put on it

just buy the recharge kit from pepboys or where ever clean it with water from the inside out make sure you get it as clean as possible shake the water out let it dry ect then spray it with the suplied filter oil in the kit and let it sit over night.. the kit is only like 10 or 15 bucks

Drive for about 500 miles, then you will need to clean your MAF, cuz the oil will get all over it. The K&N filter is actually designed to flow better a little dirty rather than being completely clean.
