I Need to know the quarter mile time of my opponet

i havea 1997 mustang v6 today i went for a ride and met this guy and was bragging about his 1998 stang v6 and everyone was scared off him i was kool until he called me out so i told him i would race him tommorow. i ask him hes mods he told me he was just runnin 3.73 gears and that was it complete stock. what would be hes 1/4 mile time everyone says he knows how to shift and im a bit scared. Me? well im completely stock what do you suggest i do to beat him one day mod or mods small mods

Well even with 3.73's his car is really still slow. You'll lose if you raced him, but you can do little things to make you car better. You can obviously throw some gears and if you put in a limited slip differential a.k.a t-lok, you'll be able to take off the line faster. Also, you can easily put in a UD pulley and a CAI and you'll have a slight edge over him. That's a good way to start at least.

get a 99 Mustang v-6  ... then you'll take him

You could do engine mods like Rob and I did and leave many in your wake. HAHHAHAHA At the track last fall Rob and I were beating a couple of 2001 V6 stangs by over 1.5 seconds in the 1/8 MUHAHHAHAHAHHA

With quite ease might I add. If I remember correctly, they were running around 11+ sec int he 1/8th. But I think they did get into the 10's a few times.

We were running 9's and only once did one of the 2001's drop into the 10's with a 10.95
