My friend has either a 99 or 2000 gt and he asked me what all he'd need to turbo his car i already told him the turbo itself intercooler forged internals and a very good tune and my knowledge stopped there what else would he need

i dont know too much about turbos... very general knowledge... but id say one very important thing is a good, reliable shop that will do all the custom piping needed for the turbo.

I use to work for an import performance shop and we did alot of turbo installs. There are quite of few things you need for a turbo and like wiarumas is saying the best bet is to find a good shop to do it if you or your friend aren't too knowledgable about turbo setups.

hes gunna need turbo manifold header..oil return feed lines to supply the turbo with oil waystegate-bov-vacum lines dependin on punds of boost larger fuel pump like walbro 255 guages boost controller-injectors and a really good tune if he wants it to last and be reliable....and hes also going to need money lol

Turbo timer is really good to have as well, you dont need it but its good to have.
