So I went to Ozzfest over here in Pittsburgh. Burnt my face off for one. Place is kinda of a small venue compared to back home but damn who builds a second stage over in the handicap parking lot
All in All Ozzfest rocked Got to talk to some bands after their set - A Dozen Furies (the band that won there Ozzfest chance) and had a good talks with them, MTV tried getting them signed but they wanted no part of it cause they would have to do what MTV wanted and thats not what they wanted. Which is good to hear.
Had a quick word with the members of In Flames which was totally fucking awesome the coolest bunch of guys Ive met man seriously.
So heres the report I ended up missing Trivium The Black Dahlia Murder and The Haunted which I was quite upset about cause I really wanted to see those bands. But started off the morning with Bury your dead, pretty cool band.
Bands that straught up sucked....I seriously dont know what the fuck shes thinking but Jada Smith please go back to your husband Will SMith cause your band was shitty aka Wicked Wisdom
Other then that Soilwork, Arch Enemy, A Dozen Furies, Killswitch Engage, and Rob Zombie all fucking rocked the fuck out of 2nd stage, esp KSE and Rob holy shit was it insane. I always love 2nd stage its so much doper.
Main Stage now In Flames opened up and you know they put on a good show for sure, Mudvanye rocked liked always
and surprisngly enough I enjoyed Iron Maiden not a huge fan but they did rock
and of course Black Sabbath theres no words that needs to be said they are the gods of metal and will alwaus fucking rock.
Ozzfest gets

Yeah, Ozzfest rocks period. They doubled ticket prices recently though, I was pissed, but it's still worth it.

Yeah believe me guys KSE was just insane. In Flames put on a hell of a show
As far as Mudvayne that was the second time i seen them so far since they are done with their make up and they still fuckin rock no doubt about it.

I saw Mudvayne at Summer Sanitarium one year, and they BLEW. But do did Metallica (pushed St. Anger WAY too hard) , Linkin Park (guitar up WAY too loud, couldn't hear words sometimes) , and the deftones weren't that good either. Limp Bizkit was honestly the best performer at that show.
However I saw Metallica later when they played with Godsmack, and they were awesome. Guess I just saw them at a bad time with the new album.

if you think limp bizkit was the best performer at any show, im definitely going to have to disregard your mudvayne comment. ive been to about 4-5 mudvayne shows and to 1 limp bizkit show, and limp bizkit was horrible. they tried to play some songs off of 3 dolla bill yall, and it was horrible. like pulling teeth.
ive been more than satisfied everytime ive ever seen mudvayne. unfortunately, i wont be able to go to ozzfest to see them, since im dropping some cash on seeing 311 and papa roach in september.

Nah there doing Sounds of the Underground Tour w/ Unearth, Clutch and two other bands
As far as mudvayne Ive yet to see them do a bad live show and ive literally seen them about 8 or so times already. They are bad ass and great live.

That's awesome, Mudvayne is my favorite band of ALL time. I have been to 3 shows and 2 of 3 I left with a broken something (nose and ankle). I had beer dumped on ym head at one cause I pissed some people off in the pit.
Archenemy is top 5 bands, In flames is awesome, Lamb of God is great. They fcking play them at the church's rec center in the weight room cause they are christian rock and pump you up. Their new cd they actually curse which I thought was cool.
KSE never been a big fan of though. Apparently ozzfest came close here, Wilkes barre like last week but I had no money so no go. Went last year to Montage and it poured all day but the mosh pit formed right next to me and it didn't even matter. I got all muddy, Manson stuck a mic in some girls pussy, and Disturbed kicked more ass than I thought they would.
OZZFEST WILL ALWAYS RULE!!
