Today I went to test drive both of the 2005 mustangs and I know you guys are not going to agreed with me but I really enjoy the V6 a lot better them the V8 I don’t know why but I felt better respond and better acceleration with the V6 than the V8
Have any of you driven these cars

drive a chipped v8 and you will change your mind. the problem with the v8 is the way they have it severely detuned

The difference is nearly 100 HP. What you were feeling is your brain deceiving you!!!!! In driving both they are similsr in handling but in acceleration there is no similarities.

Yeah, the electronic throttle control and torque control does hurt the GT's performance, but there is still a huge difference. It's just that the GT feels a LOT smoother then the V6 and that makes people think it's not as fast as it really is.

smoothness doesn't mean fastness, haha.
The V8 will be faster than the V6, no doubt.
