How big should I go? Haha, my exhaust shop has a 5" tip, and he showed it to me today. I was like, "Nah, no thanks man. I drive a Mustang." Then he laughed and said "Oh, I'm sorry, I had no idea."
I have a 2.5" tip right now, right? GT takeoffs. I'm thinking 3" tips would be ok. I don't see me ever getting a GT rear bumper, I want to keep them coming out from the bottom of my V6 bumper.
How long should I get? I know I need long ones, but how long is long enough?

since you have the v6 bumper 2.5-3 inch would be the limit, I would get 20+ inches long regardless unless you like tacky weld marks where it goes down to 2.25
www.rodshopperformance.com is where I got my angle cut 20 inch long 2.5 inch tips and I like them alot. ONLY get stainless but you already know that.

Well, there is nothing smaller than 3" that I can find. Yes, I know SS only. I found 18" long, think that's long enough? Or should I keep searching? I want angle cut.

it was hard for me to find 20 inch long, 18s will work... actually 22-24 is best to get back there to the tire... but not easy to find.

I'm actually waiting till I get the gt bumper...unless I can talk my friend into trading his 3.5 straight cut tips for my 3 angle cut rolled tips.

3 inch is as big as I would go, the larger you go the more you alter the angle you will be able to mount them at to keep that weld mark hid, and if you dont angle them up they look like crap.

ahh, fuck it. I'll just go to the shop and hold up some tips to my bumper and decide.
They'll have to order what I want anyways.
