I have a 99 V6 and am interested in getting ported heads for my stock engine. I was wondering if i change out things like this if my factory MAF will be able to sense it or do i need to get a better one.
Also are there any other sensors or electronics that i need to know about so i can swap things out the correct way? And what if i switch out the rocker arms or cam?
i don't know if the added air flow will make a difference to my cars computer.
where do you recomend i take my car to get it tuned?
I have a diablosport tuner but i don't always use it, so i don't want to send that in to get it reprogramed.
i live in California. about 45 minutes south of San Francisco. I always hear about SCT but don't know much about them. is there a web page or contact info you can give me?
dont just go to any sct dealer, go to one that KNOWS your car like the link posted above, its well worth it.

Like the guys said, no maf needed. Keep your stock one, a larger one won't add any HP at this point, and the stock one will keep your a/f more accurate. If you had a 4.2 with H/C/I then i would say go to an 80mm GT maf, but you're not at that point yet.
