Ok, do any of you computer junkies have an unused working hard drive laying around anywhere? I am looking for something in the area of 20 gb in size. I am about to reinstall my computer, and I want to put the os on its own drive so I can use my other 2 hard drives (120 gb and 80 gb) for storage and app installs. Just thought I would check here before I go shopping for one.

Well, I need at least 10 gigs for the os and all of the development environment stuff that gets installed into system locations. I currently have 9+ gigs of files in my 20 gig partition. an 8 gig wouldn't quite cut it. lol
I just bid on a set of 2 20 gig'ers on ebay. I am winning at a $1. lol. Wouldn't hurt to have 2, then I can have a backup os drive in case one goes dead...or setup a mirror if I have enough power plugs available inside.
Still interested if anyone happens to have something available tho. I don't expect to win that auction, but we will see.

Um...that is kinda the entire reason for this thread. It will need to be some form of IDE. Don't care what kind of IDE, just some sort of IDE.

they some times have amazing sales on newegg.com for stuff like that... just have to look a bit and wait for one. It will probably be a 36-40 gig.

Any luck on finding those?
Or, anyone else got some parts laying around the house?
