Let's say I want to lower my car about 1.5" and then slap on a Saleen body kit. Would that create any kind of major clearance issues as far as getting over speed bumps and whatnot?

depends on how much lower the saleen side skirts hang over the stockers. I know a 1.5" drop doesn't make a problem

I know a 1.5" drop is fine with stock bumpers and side skirts as mentioned above..
I dunno about the Saleen kit though. It's definitely lower than stock.

Yah may want to check into that. That front bumper has to hang lower than a stock GT bumper.

Are not Saleens lowered from the factory though? If they are, I would assume a drop would be fine with their body kit. Definitely for the 1.5" drop.

it's not too bad with that drop with the kit. the only time i worry about contact is when my x pipe drags slightly on speedbumps.

some but not major. You just have to learn to be careful going in and out of driveways and such~ I go sideways all the time to avoid issues. Thats about it

Because I'm more of a performance > aesthetics person, so if, for whatever reason I can't have both, I'd rather stick with the springs. But it sounds like it shouldn't be that big of an issue. Just gonna take time to build up the funds for the body kit lol.
