I hate New Jersey

No offense to anyone who lives there, maybe it was the area I was in last night and today, but it was 100 frickin degrees.
I was in Linden, NJ since 5 oclock yesterday BBQ'ing 2 pigs with my dad for his company's open house. We almost got in like 9 accidents on the fricking parkway and on 280. People cutting people off left and right and to top it off a high speed pursuit with some d-bag doing 90 down the shoulder in rush hour traffic went by us.
I almost got shot I think, my room at the Swan Motel had a non-functional toilet that I didn't find out about until after I did t3h NUMBA 2 at 4 am, I got 2 hours of sleep because some dude next door had the porn up to like concert levels(or maybe the walls were thin), and finally we got pulled over because I was not wearing my seat belt(just took it off) and my dad was on his cell phone calling my mom telling her we are on our way home.

I think that's just bad luck. I'm not exactly sure where that town is in, but my experience of Jersey was an ok one, then again it was across the river from Manhattan. I spent most of time in that area and Newark because I have family there and a good friend of mine was trying out for the NJ Nets. Maybe the rest of Jersey is like that, but I can't go out on a limb and say Jersey sucks

I don't hate Jersey, maybe that was a bad title. I hate being in populated areas period, so maybe the heat and bad luck all added up to a shiiity experience.

u were in linden lol and the traffic here on the weekend is horrible...and u were upclose to the city...not all of jersey is bad...for example, where i live in edison, its awesome...but come back to jersey, it shouldn't be too bad lol

i'm so glad that my parents got me out of there and moved us south when i was 4. The south owns all.

as proven in this thread ( Best place to live in the US (POLL) )

I have realtives in Tom's River, Asbury Park and Belmar.
THAT is where I would live if I were to goto Jersey! :p

Last year I went up to Niagra Falls Canada for a week of fun and I met this kid John from South Jersey.
Coolest kid I ever met. You couldn't piss him off and that's how he introduced himself...
"Hey I'm John, from South Jeeersey." He was a stoner btw.

my moms side is from south jersey, my dads is from north jersey. take a guess which side i have 400+ pound relatives, cousins who had kids at 16-17, uncles who got DUIs on lawnmowers, family members in jail for leading police on a multiple state chase after commiting multiple counts of identity theft, and mostly lives in the same house are on?
