OK, I have a cut Ypipe right now with 2 gutted preheats(4 pods only 2 functional cats) into straights going to my mufflers. I want to upgrade to a new H/X/Straight pipe setup because rust is spreading from my Ypipe to my Headers and Mufflers..
My question is, would it be cheaper if I were to buy 2 High Flow Cats and have a shop make me a custom set or should I just buy a MAC catted H?
Catted H's run like 300 some if anyone needs to know.
Also, any sound change with High Flow cats?

i'd guess it'd be cheaper to just buy the cats and have a shop put em on..maybe buy the cats from the shop (or at least check their prices)..but i'm not sure

I think it would be more expensive to buy the cats seperately. Cause figure they're about $100 each and then to have those install will be $50-75 easy. So you're at $250-275 now. So for about another $100 you can have a manufatured solid piece delivered to your door. Plus, the MAC h-pipes come with a protective coating so they won't rust on you. I have my MAC headers and h-pipe and they still look like new except for the scratches. If you're interested in purchasing some MAC items, let me know. I can work out some sort of deal with ya.

Yea, quopte me all the catted H/X pipes you can get.
The two don't really make a difference but they need to fit MAC Shorty's. I think Unequals.

Haha I'm not joking around. Just all in time with money. I just finally got the ball rolling again on getting my CAI powdercoat from Danger Dude so when I find out how much I'm getting paid I'll talk to ya. Maybe my rents can loan me some money aswell if I need it.
