automatic handle upgrade?

does anyone know if its possible to upgrade your automatic transmission handle to something less ugly than stock?

there are other options, but I don't like any of them. 
Somebody will know where to find them, I don't know cuz I don't like them, haha.

50resto.com has a few.
If I were to get one I would get the one that looks like a 5speed shifter but instead of the 5 speed pattern on top it has PRND12. I think it has a trigger for the button and relocated your OD button too. Lemme see if I can find it.

Nope no luck, I have no idea where I saw it.
This is pretty sweet though and I have been working towards doing it for awhile...

they usually come with a seperate peice that has the o/d button on it that you can attach to the shifter

Yeah, I have one of their shift knobs. Very nicely done.
I made a custom plate for mine in the center console. I have a picture in my garage if you want to check it out.

I had that exact same MGW handle on my GT, its not a whole shifter, just a handle, and I had my OD button mounted on the back side of the handle.

thats how mine is. theres a seperate sleeve that you buy for it that fits under the handle on the backside. i find that is a better position than stock too. you have to snip the o/d wires from the stock and just reconnect it to the aftermarket one.......it isnt hard at all

i just bought the same one, looks awesome, didnt go with chrome though, went with the satin finish. im ordering a lot of satin finished accessories for the interior so i figured it would look better matching them.

you may want to leave it alone, the least attention that you can bring to it being an auto the better.
