Question about bbk 78 mm throttle intake

Since I already have a bbk cold air kit, with 75mm throttle body, would the few extra hp really be worth the $250?

Generally with wider throttle bodies the only benefit turns out to be a throttle response. At most you may see something like a ~1 HP increases under the best of circumstances. But chances are likely tou won't even see that.

However IMHO it is not the worst idea to do especially if you have bigger plans for the car. For instance if you decide to allow the car to breathe even easier (CAI, full exhaust) a wider throttle body can be seen as a component in the setup.

Where the greatest benefit comes in is when you go Forced Induction. If you plan on doing so than installing the TB at any point is a smart step.

Forced induction? As in supercharger?
At any rate.....ya'll get ready for alot of questions....I'll be asking lots more as I decide what I want to do first(which will probably be lowering)
