yeah I still dont understand why they roasted her though I always thought the roast was suppuse to be towards comedians
and who also saw courtney love so smashed off of shit she couldnt keep her head up most of the time  damn that bitch needs to lay off the coke

It's funny how many of these threads have popped up. It seems like every forum has one. lol. I didn't watch it. Didn't seem like an interesting thing to see. I've watched a few roasts (Jeff Foxworthy, Pimp master Hugh Hefner) and they didn't seem that funny. Plus, I am not that impressed with pammy and her tupperware chest...but that is just me I guess. |

They roasted hugh hefner...he isn't a comedian. The roast concept is just to bring some celebrity there and have fun at their expense all the while congratulating them on their career and such too. Most roasts are comedians because they can take the jokes better. But even the original roasts back in the days of the rat pack weren't just comedians. It's just a bunch of "friends" getting together to rag on their buddy. |

yeah the jeff foxworthy roast wasnt that funny.
i think the chevy chase roast was the best, following dennis leary and hef.
sometimes they roast people just so they can go in there and roast on the people doing the roasting. most the time the jokes are about the other people there(like how everyone wants to fuck dr. ruth, etc).

I think that is my biggest beef with the show. They seem to spend more time roasting the other roasters instead of roasting the roastee. I think it was the second roast I watched where they never really said anything about the roastee. The old version of the show seemed to be much more centered on the roastee, with only a few jabs at fellow roasters. |
