you're preaching to the choir, i HATE emissions testing and pretty much california for that matter. a good job is what keeps me in this mess. i had to do a full days research online to get california air restrictions board serial numbers for all my after market parts before any smog check place would even test my car. i also took my cobra to get a smog check and it has an aftermarket catted x pipe and it BARELY passed smog, by one point.

I wish i had a choice of where i live but i'm stuck in Cali. I'd like to move back to the midwest but that will be later on when i'm done with school. Anyways i want to get something together with people. I live about 40 minutes south of San Francisco. (talk about weirdo's)
I don't know how far away anybody else is but i'm always up for a drive if it's worth it. |

I live in Thousand Oaks...Im ready to meet up for a bbq or race. I am also 5th generation born in Cali. You dont know how good you have it till you leave. accept for smog & expensive living I love it! Someone start it up. As you can see I tried a couple times.

the closest track to me is sacramento, theyre building a HUGE track and facility in atwater(like 30mins from me), but that wont be finished till 07 i believe.
come springtime ill be able to get more days off from work, and since my girl lives in oceanside, ill be down to come down to socal and go to a meet since i wont have to make a 16 hour round trip just for a few hours of a meet. maybe ill have my roush kit on and painted by then, who knows.
