ive been contemplating cutting my tailpipes, and getting some mandrel 90degree turnouts and some nice tips. but im kinda afraid how much louder, or if the tone would change much if i did that, right now i have the stock manifolds, O/R x pipe and magnaflow magnapacks....its already very loud. give me some opinions

as soon as the dsm sells, ill be having my shop make me a custom side exhaust. ill be using mac flowpaths(since theyre small enough to 2 up there) and a set of Roush Tips(400bucks for the fuckers) and roush side skirts(another 400). since thatll cost me a good 1000 before paint, i still need to sell the dsm to make some cash.

if you think you can just bend the pipe from your oem mufflers out to the side of your car your wrong, that wont work... no where near enough room. The only way you can do it with our a same side in/out muffler is if you get some round turbo pack/magna flow mufflers and scoot them up right next to the converters as close as you can (basically at the end of the H pipe) and then run a pipe over to the side. People sell bolt up kits like this on ebay I do belive...

yea, with the same side in/outs it works good with a little pipe bending. You can buy a 90 degree pipe if needed, just go to www.stage3motorsports.com or fnsweet.com and look at someones exhaust to get an idea of how the pipe works.

i think im gonna go with spintechs
http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spin...se%20flyer.jpg part #333SCS , i will get that long oval tip you see in one of the pics, till i can afford 400 for the roush side skirts, 400 for the tips, and another 200 to paint.
i looked on mustangexhaust.com and listened to the spintech side exits and loved them. even though they say its for a 97 cobra, im pretty sure it will sound close on a 02. on one of the samples, it sounded like Eleanor in gone in 60 seconds when he was driving around in the industrial part and backed into the truck and broke the mirror. im also going with mustangtuning.com's catted x-pipe setup, http://www.mustangtuning.com/xc-99.html.
its gonna be an expensive exhaust setup, but i think it will be worth it, since i dont like to be like everyone else with just dual flo's out the back.
