Almost done painting

Well got majority of the olive drab sprayed. my skills suck so oh well its just a trail rig anyways.

doing the prep work

got the antenna off

tire carrier is no more..I will not put that piece of junk back on

had to hose it down

all taped off and for the most part, primered the parts that needed primering



i stopped to go get some water and my dad came out...i learned a valuable lesson. never leave my father alone with rattle cans

after awhile i had to stop and go to walmart. picked up some more olive drab and some face masks cause the fumes were getting to me. so....

towards the end i was looking like this though...my fingers still hurt

looks like ass right now, but im going to go over some of the worst spots again after i get the hood and roof done with whatever i got left, ive already used 12 cans of OD. then do cover up work with black, brown, and tan, but this is going to be a 100ft paint job




i doubt i will get to do the other 3 colors before i leave on monday, but i will be home on memorial day weekend to finish it up

buy one of those spray can sprayer/holder things its like $1.99 and makes spray paint look more professional (as professional as rattle cans can get) and saves your fingers from hurting like shit.

parents had one. but it just didnt work for me...maybe a crappy design. bout to go to wally world so i will see what they have there for different ones. but as i stated before im not out for the best paint job

i tried doing a write up with my lift install, but im not good at remembering everything i did exactly so it wast the best.

all i know is i havent painted now since 5ish and my fingers still hurt and its midnight

i know the rear bumper is painted but i have a custom rear waiting to go on so painting this one was pointless



been thinking of doing something similar to my bumper like this deuce and a half. ive seen some with a star on it too
