Yet another problem.....

1998 gt....stock other than intake,cats..........the engine coolant is low and was before it just magicaly turned up missing.......no leaking as i can tell fro ma quick look.......but when i go to fill it up the d*** coolant is still in the tank and there no way to add any....what should i do

also if it was burning the coolant wouldn't i be able to smell a funky smell from the exhaust...and notice a performance decrease? cu it still run like its normal self

I was having the same problem in my 99 Cobra. You could have a big air pocket, thats what mine was. I just drained the coolant and flushed it. That fixed it for me.

well see it not coming out the exhaust......and it not leaking......i got some coolant in the tank but the light still pops on and off. any ideas

It is an air pocket. Burp the system and you should not have any problems with it.

im guessing it was that air bubble thing.........cuz there is no white smoke and now the system seems to have coolant with no problems....i'll keep checking and let ya know

Not a problem, u can burp the system by having the car running with the cap off and when it reaches the normal running temperature where the thermostat opens it will push air out. If it acts up again, I would do this.
