I still have to get my current tires mounted on them, but I got a KILLER deal on them off ebay. Guy lives about an hour away and met me halfway so I didn't have to pay shipping. So I got the wheels with almost brand new tires for 175!! Now I gotta wait till the first friday of sept to get them switched over but here's a sneak peak and a PS of what it should look like. Let me know what you think!!
The begining:
Checking out to see how it would look before I get the tires switched over:
And the PS I did. I used the actual wheel I put on for the PS to get a more relistic look:
Again let me know what you think!

Yes it has the pony in the center cap. I wasn't expecting a lot of people to like it, but I was ready for something different and I got a killer deal on it and I can turn around and sell the tires off the wheels and make my money back and I could a avoid shipping. So it'll work for now.

Thats the plan. they need to be refinished so once I find a place that does it and I get a price and get the money together it'll happen.

i dont know if i would trust locals to chrome plate my rims... ive seen alot of local jobs that are crap in a bag... they chip and fall apart and look like crap. for the money you can just buy them oem chrome... sell those and make a little money.

if anything, have them powerdercoated or something
as Brandon said, chrome has a tendancy to flake, especially on wheels that arnt OEM chrome, but were chromes
chrome sticks better to a fresh surface, you can acid dip wheels all you want, but the surface will never be like it was when it was new

I'm half and half on it, but with the good deal I got its something different for a while and i'm planning to sell the tires off them and they are almost brand new and I should be able to make the 175 back on them.
