Well since gas prices have been getting so bad my friend offered to sell me his car for cheap since all it was doing is sitting in his yard. So now I have a new DD. Its a 1991 ford probe GL its in pretty good shape besides a few things which i've taken pictures to show you. It's a fun little car to drive, but i've got to wait till friday till I can get tags/insurrance. I just wish my truck would of waited till next week to pull the crap it is because then I wont have to worry about a vehicle. Oh well here's the pics.
Dont mind the sparetire. The real tire is in the bad seat, but I haven't had a chance to see if anything is wrong with it.

Passanger side of the car. Looks like someone before my friend tried to repare part of the body and either never finished it or did a shitty job.

Rear bumper has a weird tear on it, but i'll replace it aventually.

Interior: only problems with it is a cracked dash and tears on the rear seat.

Here's the beast the 2.2l I4 surprisingly it'll move pretty good and has nice power through 1-4(still haven't pushed it all the way yet.
I plan to fix the problems with the body and repaint it. I also need to adjust the shifter its a little lose. After that i'm gonna get it repainted white and might look into some decent wheels so it looks a little nicer. Besides that nothing big is planned for it untill I get rid of my truck sometime next year or the year after.

Wow could you not find a daily drive that was not in need of so much attention. you could easily waste more money on that than the money you think you are going to save. But I hoep everything works out

its perfect mechanicly and thats all I need right now. The deal i'm getting on it is good. He's letting me pay him a little bit every month. Plus i've known him since I was 11 and i'd trust him over someone I just met to buy a car from. I'll be doing all the work myself. I know people who can paint it too and all I have to do is buy the paint. I didn't want to spend a tun of money on a beater for my daily commute. Plus when I get rid of my truck i'm gonna try and stay away from payments for a while. I'm not planning to dump a ton of money in it. Just gonna fix it up a little and if I every sell it maybe make a little more then what i'm paying for it.
I also forgot to mention this motor is only 4 years old and has only around 30k on it. The motor has well over 100k miles left in it.

didn't you just buy a bike? I'd just ride that; it'll be easier and cheaper to fix when it breaks.

It needs work to get running plus I have no title for it at the moment. Plus I dont have enough experiance on a bike to ride it all the time(i've never actually been on a bike)

Needs a two foot double decker spoiler, preferably aluminum. A 5" exhaust tip would be a nice touch, too. Maybe even an off-center yellow racing stripe. All classy modifications that will make your car stand out from the crowd.

theyre decent little drivers, they dont have shit worth of power, but for a economy car, they do a good job
i ran one a while back in my 3.8L bird, the probe was an auto, and i pulled on him in my hulk, so i felt bad for the probe guy
if you get some glazing puddy, and an assload of sandpaper, you could take care of most of the body imperfections the car has, just make sure to check out what the repair was, it could be anything from a deep scratch to a massive rust hole

Dude you need to quit being such a dick i'm tired of it. Yes it will make a huge difference. I'm cutting back insurrance cost on my truck. I'll be paying less for both cars then just the truck by itself. On top of that the probe gets around 30mpg vs my 16 right now. So yes it will make a FREAKING DIFFERENCE.

Boy, I will tell you what, for someone who loves to give me a hard time, you sure can't take it in return. Chill dude, so I think its silly to add another car you will have to pay on, albeit small amount, just seems the other payment and insurance would negate the money you will save on gas. Its no big deal just my opinion. Probes are cool, I like the way they look, have fun with it man.

Haha, I would tell, but I don't want to say until I get it. Some folks know already. I hope they don't tell, but whatever, it is a brand new car.
