I was wondering the same thing. I don't think this preview made it look great but it's better than the last one I saw.
And is this going to be truly a DOOM experience, aka, portal to hell is opened. Or is this something to do with that human genome thing they were talking about.

no it has nothing to do with the doom gaming story(as in gateway to hell) its more like resident evil. this is why its going to suck ass. i heard they didnt do a gateway into hell cause it could cause religious backlash.

That's fucking bs. Who cares if a bunch of uptight panty wranglers care about the movie. They weren't gonna see it anyway probrobly so it's not like they'd be making less money.
I think they should stop f-ing movies up because honestly, I can't remember the last GOOD movie I saw, and that scares me.

well.. it COULD be worse. from the looks of it maybe it will have some cool things happen like a few good headshots and slow motion frag gernades blowing limbs off people (btw computer people must download the demo of fear).. but in no way shape or form does it even have potential of being a half decent movie.

^ I downloaded Fear when Fileplanet released it, it's pretty fun.
I like to imagine I'm Spike from Cowboy Bebop and I'm raiding that building in the last episode with just my pistol. Very nice game indeed.

They shouldn't make a movie from something else, and not make it as close to the original as possible.

Why would the religious worry about a gateway to hell. I mean if you go to a Primative Baptist Church they are always talking about Fire and Damnation.. I would be more worried it it was a Gateway to Jimmy's House MUHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

i dont know how true that is, but i heard about the doom storyline about a month before i saw the first online preview, and i heard about the religious rumor from my cook at work who is a movie fanatic. swear to god, this guy lives, breathes, eats and sleeps movie news and facts. his house is like one of those insane ebayer houses, filled with piles upon piles of movie paraphernalia and relics.
he also keeps me updated on vin diesels career cause he thinks that just cause i have (2) fast and furious posters and a xXx one im obsessed with vin diesel. i aint even seen the pacafier yet.
