If you buy a gt rear sway bar with out mounting hardware how much more is it for the hardware? any links?

I plan on putting mine on with a bolts and nuts, gonna be hard but I'm too cheap for the locking nuts from ford.

you just need to pick up those bolts that hold it on and teh little clips, shouldnt be a big deal to track em down.

its really like $4 for the locking stuff. i got everything from our ford guy new for under $100

don't see why not. but cobra rear bars were prone to breaking at the transition points.

i guess it depends on what you do with your car. but i believe our newer sn95's are a bit heavier and add a lil extra stress...not sure though. but if you are gentle it should be fine.

but i will have no problem installing the front- dual rear sway bars even though my rear isnt an IRS.... and my car is a 99-2004 not a 98

the 1996~ ones would break where the flat part went to the rount part, get a 99 up gt~ and you should be fine. I have a 1996 mystic rear sway and have never had a problem though....
